One of the life long dreams of every horse rider is to find sponsorship - and I’ve found mine!

Thank you Jo Roberts for the woolly bobble hat production.

Epic 2017

Well we are nearly at the end of what has been an epic 2017 - our first year at Wings Farm. We would just like to say Happy New Year to all our friends and clients who welcomed us to life here in Norfolk.

Wings Farm started out as a dream for me many many many years ago, I always hoped one day we would have our very own place, where horses could be happy, trained with empathy and for students to feel at home and learn in a friendly, non judgemental environment - I believe we achieved that in 2017.

2017, Thank You

The more animals and birds come into my life the more in despair and pissed off I become of the human race. Today I received a phone call from the falconry where we left the little barn owl, they told me he didn't make it through the night.

Owl

The little Barn owl we rescued from the side of the road turned out to be a young male, he stayed with us for 24 hours and perked up a lot as we gave him food and a dry place to sleep, he flew around an old aviary which we have outside so his wings work, but each time he landed, he didn't put any legs out which worried me a little bit but his feet work because he's grabbed my hand a few times!

So there we were driving along the A1 on Boxing Day to go see relatives and we see this little chap flapping around on the floor near a layby but we couldn’t stop at the time, so we did a 10 mile detour to turn round and come past again.
